The Łódź Special Economic Zone has been developing in a multidimensional way for 27 years - in promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and building regional competitiveness. The result? The LSEZ consistently ranks among the top ten zones in the world, is a place valued and liked by entrepreneurs, and its employees are considered experts in the industry.

Basic directions of activity:

 

  1. Support for Entrepreneurship and Innovation:

 

  • More than 650 permits and decisions on support for entrepreneurs.
  • Declared investment expenditures of 32 billion zlotys.
  • More than 35,000 new jobs.

 

  1. Building Competitiveness of the LSEZ:

 

  • Building an offer for entrepreneurs, i.e. full support before, during and after the investment and creating an ecosystem of the Łódź Special Economic Zone.
  • Attractive investment offers, which has resulted in the largest foreign investments in the LSEZ to date, such as Daikin and Miele Technika.
  • The opening of the Automation and Robotics Technical School as part of the activities of the LSEZ's subsidiary, the Education Zone - the goal is to educate young people who will in time be able to be actively involved in the development of automation and robotization of enterprises.

 

  1. Support for SMEs:

 

  • Training, postgraduate studies and other forms of competence enhancement in companies made possible through the RozwoYou Zone and RozwoYou Zone2 programs - nearly 13,000 employees
  • Compensation for those who lost out due to Brexit - thanks to the Re_open UK program - 642 companies benefited.

 

  1. New Technologies:

 

  • Investment in cutting-edge technologies through various projects such as Re_connect - an innovation center at the LSEZ, Startup Spark - acceleration programs for startups, and Rething Digital Hub.

 

 

  1. Events:

 

- Organization of various industry events, such as the Home Appliances Congress, the Re_think Digital Summit technology festival, and meetings of entrepreneurs as part of the Re_enter series - contributing to networking and exchange of experiences of managers, employees and specialists in specific industries.
